Should have started this thread a couple of weeks ago but the new season is here and there is a fantasy team. You signup through MotoGP and this is the link to the league.

League is called OCUK
code is 2RWLR2KK

For me Ducati are obviously the team to beat again and Bagnaia has to be the favorite but I think Fabio will be there or there abouts. Hopefully Marc can get enough out of the Honda which is sadly lacking to get in the title race or at least cause some chaos.

The sprints liven Saturdays up a fair bit. This season could be awesome!

I honestly feared that might have been a procession but wow what a race! Mav having a bad start made it a better race.

As for Acosta  I'm just blown away by him. He just doesn't care who you are, he'll dish it out and take no prisoners and he was on the medium tyre. He is the future of MotoGP, Marc and Vale talent with more of the crowd/PR gift than Marc has. He could be the next Rossi. Liberty Media must be looking at him and rubbing their hands together.

Do I put Mav in my fantasy team for Jerez? He's disappointed so many times for so many years but he looks so fast atm and not afraid to mix it up which has always been his achilles heal.

Race weekend again!

Genuinely couldn't pick a winner. (Would love to see Danny lift the trophy)
Can't wait. :)

I'd also love to do see Danny get on the podium but I got the feeling last year that he didn't want to get involved in any fights at the front and take points of title challengers. He's just a bit too nice.

Fairly sure I'm putting Pedro in my Gold riders this weekend, I really fancy him for a win. Will wait and see how tomorrow goes before selecting the team but I've got a feeling.

WTF was going on at turn 5? The simultaneous crash of Alex Marquez, Brad Binder & Enea Bastianini was very odd.

I was hoping for a Marc Marquez win but had a feeling he'd end up crashing.

Jack Miller surely can't hold onto that seat next season.

The track has a problem with water weeping up through the tarmac in some areas after its rained and they all rode over it. Pedro must have been on a slightly different line to avoid it. They knew it was there was it was a mistake.

What a weekend of racing that was! So many talking points between the sprint and the feature race.

Hopefully it's a sign of things to come.

I wonder what Acosta could do on a Ducati...

I want to see him win a championship on a KTM.

If KTM aren't taking all his comments on board for that bike development they are mad. Binder is a fantastic rider but Pedro is a generational talent like Marc was. They should be signing him up to a long contract and aiming for him to properly challenge for the title next year.

What was silly about it?
I know you haven't asked me but for me it was silly that he went for it and managed to pull it off. He came from so far back on tyres at the end of their life, most riders couldn't make that overtake and do it perfectly. Marc has always been incredible on tyres that are way past their best though. I think this is how he's going to have an advantage on Pecco and Jorge in the coming races.

I'm sure that if Martin doesn't get the factory ride he'll be off elsewhere. Aprilia would be my guess. If that happens then Marquez will be on the factory bike with Bastianini on a factory spec bike at Pramac.

Or, Martin gets the factory seat. Marquez gets a factory spec bike at Gresini and Bastianini joins Aprilia.

Unless Pramac do the off to Yamaha, rumours just aren't going away. Then there will be 2 2025 bikes available for either VR46 or Grissini.

I must have been living under a rock, I hadn't see talk of that. I guess Yamaha would make the deal commercially extremely interesting, they'd have to in order to make someone want their bike right now.

Been reported that they'll give them factory level bikes for free to go there. Still they have 2 factory level bikes and the best bikes on the grid at the moment. Money talks though.
