MotoGP Starts this weekend

Was a great ride from Cal, I thought he would have a chance at Dani, Though he will get that podium if he continues his current form, What struck me as more of an indicator of his great performance was the fact he got fastest lap, That was really impressive. He has really got to grips with the 1000`s.

Well done to Stoner too, Although I hate the Aussie moaner he rode well to keep Lorenzo at bay on a circuit that he dislikes and a circuit that Jorge loves, Thought the race was a bit bland and dull though and this seems to be an expected scenario at most rounds of the Moto gp season and this is compounded even more this year with the loss of Marco and the demise of the Ducati`s...Talking of which.

Both Rossi and Hayden had poor races again in 8th and 9th and one must wonder what Ducati can do to change their inherent problem, This problem with front end feeling seems to plague them no matter what they do. At this moment I feel for Rossi, Being over 2 secs slower than Nicky must be soul destroying and the lack of a competitive bike must be compounding his woes, The Duke needs a strong rider who wants to ride it, Not coax it through bends like a Yamaha demands, For me Nicky suits the duke far better than Rossi and this must be a bit of an ego bashing for Rossi, I hope and pray that Ducati can tame their monster and give VR and Nicky a competitive bike, But history tells us that is unlikely and chances are they will never recover that elusive 1 sec gap needed to get to the top.

Spies also has to give himself a kick up the rear, His performances have really been far worse than Rossi, On a top works yammy and he turns in performances like this....not good enough, Give Cal the ride!!

Awesome ride again from Cal and less than 3 secs off 1st place.
I think last year he would have thrown it down the road in a similar situation but this year he's much more suited to the bike and he can show his true pace.

He'll have his bad days, no doubt but this should be a great season for him, he's too good to ignore.

Stop with the drama and READ IT AGAIN. Sky ITALIA. In other words Sky ITALY have bought the ITALIAN BROADCAST RIGHTS. This has NOTHING to do with the current UK deal. AT ALL.

Admittedly the press release itself, having read it, doesn't mention Italy or only says it vaguely. You'd get down to the bottom of the pieve before you saw that Andrea Zappia, Sky Italy is mentioned.

Well who would have said Rossi in a Ducati getting 2nd? Rain obviously helped but he was strong throughout the race but surprised he didnt take it to Stoner earlier.

Is he still a guarantee for Honda when Stoners retires? Be nice not to think its a done deal...
