New Defender was revealed today at the Frankfurt motorshow, those with long beards will hate it even though it seems extremely capable, will sell like hotcakes.

So it's not as if the 488 was massively short-lived in comparison to previous models :) If anything, it's that the 458 was freakishly long-lived compared with the others!

Fair enough! Maybe life is just whizzing by for me now I’m an old fart. I would be pretty miffed if I was still waiting for F8 coupe and they announce the spider though. It feels like they’re doing exactly what McLaren get criticised so much for, banging out models left and right.
