Still have fond memories of driving mate's NSX along the wintery hills of Toronto many years ago. What a joy to drive these things are. Felt quite underpowered vs the M3 and the noise is nothing spectacular, but everything else made up for it

If you enjoyed it, go drive a 987.2 Spyder, drives better, sounds better. Or even better a Ferrari 360, has the noise and the power the NSX missing. NSX is wonderful car but grossly over priced now for an example like that and a Boxster Spyder or Ferrari 360 both at less money are more enjoyable drives from every aspect, except for running cost in regards to the Ferrari and of course based on all been manuals. The automatics in all of them are poor. Some of the JDM stuff is truly over hyped now, a little like some GT Porsches.

The Honda will be the most reliable out of the lot though.

All sounds great, none of them are an OG NSX though, missing the aesthetics and charm and that's what ultimately matters

It's the motoring journalist mashup we've all wanted :D

They make a valid point though. Cars of this era are really peak motoring and everything we have now is pure wastefulness. An L322 is pretty much all you need. They can be retrofitted with carplay thanks to third parties and a decent 4.4 TDV8 is 20K tops. Is a brand new RR which costs a 100k more really worth it? That is coming from people who are worth millions.

I still maintain that the Range Rover, a 1990 Mk.1, I used to have was the best car I ever owned Picked it up for next to nothing from a scrapyard, I paid £150 or something and spent ~3 hours underneath it getting it to move so I could limp it home rather than having to get a trailer. Best thing is I 'Straightened' the panels with a lump of wood and a rubber mallet, it looked like it had been pushed off a mountain. :D
