Will we see a return to the 2013 spec for 2014?
Hope it does mean Hulkenberg gets the lotus seat, Maldonado will probably be snapped up by another team for the money. Personally don't think he should be in F1, maybe he will end up in another series somewhere else.

I can see Maldonado in a Sauber next year. They'll need his $30m just to replace all the accident damage Sirotkin is going to cause.
Well, it's looking ever more likely. Quantum are telling Lotus that they want Nico and that they should sign a contract with him ASAP. I would definitely be happy to see Maldonado out of F1.
I suppose it depends entirely on who they pair him with.
If its Perez and Magnusson then I may cry.
I'd be amazed if that happens. They passed over Hulkenberg last year for Perez and his untold millions in sponsorship from Telmex/Carlos Slim. Now they're supposed to be eyeing a rookie and supposedly losing that sponsoship?Rumors are mclaren are considering magnusson.
If they think he is good enough may as well go for it, let him learn as much as he can from Button and get him in while all the teams are starting fresh.
That said it would be a real shame for Perez, not sure he should have gotten that drive in the first place but he really hasn't been given a decent chance yet with that car being the way it's been.

Can't see it myself.
wonder where maldanados millions will end up? bet he thought he would end up at lotus (he still could have course)
lol, wtf was that all about?
How good are Lotus actually going to be next season - havent they lost a couple of top aero guys in the last 12 months , plus Kimi and his engineer
Just because they have the quantum money (which will of course be an improvement on this year lol), Im not convinced they will definitely still be up at the front of the grid more often than not.
