WTF, story appearing saying Button and his wife were freaking gassed in their home. Burglars gassed the home, knocked them out cold and robbed them blind. Jesus, with the amount of sickos out there that could have gotten extremely nasty.

Read that earlier. Frightening stuff. Some absolute degenerates about. Glad theyre both ok.

They stole her engagement ring I heard on the radio - low lifes. I'm sure they've earned themselves a pretty penny but some things cannot be replaced.

Judging by the BBC article Jenson and his wife were not gassed, but some people have been: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-33814823

Am I a bad person for expecting more jokes about the button robbery along the lines of "just as button was passing out, the last thing heard was him say 'there is no balance!'", or jokes about what trophies he had to steal? :o

Thanks for the welcome, Skeeter :)

Kevin Ward's accident does not seem like a year ago.. It was even before Jules' crash, which feels like a long, long time ago.

The accident was discussed both here and elsewhere that I frequent, one place I in particular where us members outnumber anyone else by a very large margin. Almost everyone said Hart was stupid to be not just standing but walking and moving around on what was still a live racetrack and was also quite poorly lit in that corner as well. If you crash you get to a place of safety ASAP. You do NOT stay on the track, walk around onto the racing line to rage and gesticulate your displeasure to anyone. EVER. Yes perhaps Tony could have done something but you don't expect to see someone standing on the track. Tragic yes but Hart did something very stupid and paid the ultimate price. Motorsport is dangerous, it says so on every ticket, the drivers, owners, mechanics, EVERYONE knows it.

Just seen almost a year on, Tony Stewart is now facing a fresh lawsuit from the family regarding that tragic death of Kevin Ward.http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-33830268

And who would'a thunk it? In the same week that the NASCAR circus heads into NY state. Incredible timing.

*snort*

If I was Tony Stewart, I'd be somewhat peeved right now (hell, I'm pretty annoyed on his behalf anyway). No criminal charges were brought over the accident, which really ought to have been the end of this sad episode. Then everyone pitches up at Watkins Glen, and suddenly we have the announcement of this lawsuit. With all those lovely cameras and journalists and pundits around.

Guttierez, certainly, as they aren't far off being the Ferrari version of Toro Rosso and he's a Ferrari protégé.

Alex Rossi as he's American and has some decent backing.

Rumours of Hulkenberg too.

"We are talking with like 10 people," said Steiner.
