Problem is, if RBR go then Torro Rosso are gone too. And F1 doesn't need the grid to shrink any more than it already has.
I hope RB go along with Pirelli. Someone will buy TR team.

I'd miss the toro rosso boys and ric but not really kvyat that much. wouldnt care about not seeing rbr again though, not exactly the most endeering sports team that ever graced the planet.
I've no love for the leadership and management of RBR but I'd certainly miss them as a team. There's a huge amount of talent in the team and they've produced some wonderful cars over the past few years too.
Red Bull are more valuable to F1 than pretty much every other team. They are pretty much the only team promoting drivers based on talent. Without them we wouldn't have most of the successful or exciting drivers on the grid!
Didn't think Nissan/Infiniti make F1 engines. The branding on the RBRs is simply because Nissan is a partner of Renault and wanted to advertise their luxury brand. The engines were always Renault and they got a little advertising space. Can't see how Nissan/Infinit could start an F1 engine programme now for March 2016 without ending up like Honda. There simply isn't enough time.

When was the last time a young driver was promoted to McLaren or Ferrari from their young driver programs other than KMag? How many have even made it to a lower team? Bianchi, and er... Hamilton? 3 drivers in 8 years.
All 4 Red Bull seats are currently full of their own drivers promoted based on talent. They have brought a total of 11 drivers to the grid through their program. We need more of this to battle against a world where Maldonado is yet again filling a space on an F1 grid for another year.
I guess that's the advantage of having a junior team and, tbf, the some of the drivers that have come through have been almost as bad as Maldonado.

Because running a second team to bring up and coming talent through is something every team does. Feels like we are in a no win situation really, hopefully we will secure the engine we are going for and the grid will be a bit more entertaining.
Whats it like in the factory at the moment? I am assuming the management are doing their best to calm the staff down and not get them worried? All you need is the boss saying that we are going to pull out of the sport to kill any chance of having a semi decent car next year if your staff are thinging, Damn! In Renault Sport F1 and Red Bull Technology we have technical partners that have powered the World Championship winning team for the last four years, and, while we are realistic enough to know we are very unlikely to be competing right at the front of the grid, there is no reason why we should not be fighting higher than we have done since we came into the sport in 2010
That's not really saying much, the Caterham CT05 (2014, with "that" nose) was running the same internals (engine+gearbox) as RedBull.
Quote from Caterham at the time:
