To be fair to Bottas, he did take out both Red Bulls in Hungary right at the start

Well, Alonso has; can’t say the same about their special needs driver.
Aston Martin are using the Honda engines from 2026, so that's an Alonso and Honda reunion in that year.
Imagine if they produce a dog of an engine under the new 2026 rules and Alonso is reintroduced to the GP2 engine.

Papa Stroll 100% knows his son is trash and will never be good enough. I guess it could mean that he cares more about his son than the money, which is the only positive in that situation.

Thing is; Papa Stroll's influence over the team is dimishing as more of it gets sold off to various (mainly Saudi) investors ; it may not be his call to keep or sack Lance soon

Wouldn't be surprised; I expect Alonso has only signed on at Aston because he know's Merc aren't taking him.
I know folk might be upset Antonelli isn't going there if Sainz is but putting a rookie straight in is totally against the way that Merc and Wolff work

I'm expecting Antonelli in at Williams for a couple of years with a financial sweetener to Williams. Cheaper engines I suspect. Vowles will know pretty much how much the engines cost Mercedes and will drive a hard bargain.
Maybe it will just be for a year until Audi turn up/the new guy is ready to take over? I guess if it’s longer than a 1 year deal that then poops on the Audi thing.
I take it that Saturday in Vegas is late night again so early Sunday for Europe?
Along with a rebrand to team Seat?
