That was a worthy shout from Max but, Russell goes running to the stewards and piling it on to get max penalised..
Max did exactly the same as George. I don't see how anyone can see it differently. Max is being a total hypocrite, he was on the blower for quite a few laps afterwards checking in on the Lando situation. To lambast George for similar behaviour is just ridiculous. Did you even see the George/Max incident from George's onboard? It was pretty hairy, Max seemed to stamp on the brakes midway through the corner and stayed on the racing line hence George arrived on the scene pretty damn quickly. Much more dangerous than Lando not feathering the throttle for a millisecond down the straight with no-one or nothing anywhere near him.
As for George running to the stewards, Max mistakenly seemed to think that director of the GPDA would be alright with not following the rules as written and help him escape a penalty...
Abs is champion again.
lol :p Congrats to her (again)!

Watching Abbi on the F1 Show, am I missing something here? How can she have more podiums than starts?

Max's argument is how hard Russell supposedly went for the penalty not that he was on the horn to his RE about it. ALL drivers will be on the horn to their RE to get the RD to look at any incidents to help their drive

He also said Max swore, which others reported was false so who knows what actually happened.
People can have different understandings of which words are swearing, plus we don't know the source claiming he didn't swear so it's not credible. It's also possible Max made a comment to George about the stewards and George simply phrased it wrong when he said he was swearing at the stewards.

Max has demonstrated many times publicly how quickly he loses his temper, so it's completely believable that he would privately tell George he would put him on his head in the wall. You could see how fuming Max was about the penalty when he was whining about George to the press, and I don't for one second believe George is the type of person to make something like that up.

Max is either going to swear or not swear - you're doing some crazy mental gymnastics there just to defend George, even though there's nothing but his own word backing it.

Max only denied saying he would put George on his head in the wall on the third time of asking, almost as if he was trying to avoid answering the question. A normal reaction to a false accusation like that would be an immediate and firm denial. One of them is lying and personally I doubt it's George.

You would also think that Max would be wary of firing off expletives in front of the stewards after his last swearing episode on tv...
