got my bandit out of the shed as i prepare for BPW trip in October.

Head bolts on my eason Haven stem are rusty. Anyone recommend replacements? Would rather have black ones not interested in titanium weight saving.

Just get ti, they are a little weaker but wont rust and look better. Black will just scratch and look cack after a few times under an allen key.

I am thinking of getting a new helmet for xc cycling. I had my helmet for over 5 years and I am thinking of a change. I have been thinking of the bell super r2 mips. Would you recommend a different helmet, maybe a cheaper one or this one?

I'd argue it's his long term friendship with Sam Hill that it's reminiscent of.
Sam took him under his wing from a young age, so their styles are quite similar. Sam used to either destroy the field, or fall and still place well.

Same goes for that young Michael Jones. Spent all winter at Sam's house and it shows.
 
Really wish they could get more and better cameras in these DH races. Watching that was ace but so often it was "and he's gained/lost loads of time in between splits 2 and 3, where we show you absolutely nothing and so have no idea why". And then Gwin has his rather impressive looking crash... probably, all you can see is a few bits of his bike flying over while the leaves and branches thrash around :)

They are set off at 1 minute intervals, so there are 3-4 riders on track at a time. They can't show you a full run for every rider and still have a live show. That's why you see a bit more of each run towards the end because they change to 2 minute intervals.
 
What guys do you think of the Fox clothing Strike and flux helmet and the bell super r2. As I am thinking of a new helmet. I am looking for one for XC and Trail. I had my helmet which I bought for around £40 over 5 years now which is a MET and now I am thinking of getting a new one as I think I need a change.
 
I got a fox flux and had it for around 4-5 years and it still fine. The newer ones are probably even better now. Probably best to go to a shop and try a few though.
 
Yeah go and try a few, different manufacturers seem to favour different shape heads.

Bluegrass was aweful for me but ixs is a dream.
