Awesome day up Cannock.

Till I blew my forks to bits that is. I'm laying the blame firmly at black trail detours - rocks followed by rocks followed by more even angrier rocks. Still - 6 week old shock shouldn't be falling apart first sign of any trouble. Warranty will fix or replace but it's the hassle and the downtime.

Dog is going to be getting double walks over the next few weeks :D

Thanks begbie. Hahaha - it'll be ordered soon! :)

Yeah, RS Monarch RT3. Not bothering with the Plus. can't see me needing all that shock to play with? Never understood it all lol

Awesome!

Went out on mine the other day, so much fun. Shame I've forgot how to cycle uphill and it's so rooty and rocky I need to be a hell of a lot fitter to climb it! It's also insanely dry and dusty ;)

I went out on mine on Saturday and even though I left the shocks wide open I forgot how well it climbs. I do wonder if I've broken my forks - the lockout doesn't seem to do much... hmm.

When you back over here Begbie? Gonna have to have another day at BPW.

What forks do you have Jono?

Anyone any experience over the RT3 Monarch and RC3 Plus? Is the Plus worth the extra £65. It looks nicer, and gives me 3 compression settings.. but not sure if it's worth me getting over the RT3.

Sadly not going to be back for another few years, I'll be back in Scotland but it'll only be for a week at a time.

Though at £50 a pop for decent bike rental, I think I might bring my hard tail back with me at some point though and build it up. So hopefully I may get the chance to travel down.
