Mountain Biking

Well chuffed for Loic, finally got one in the bag, first of many if he keeps this up, I dont think he'll run away with the title but i think it'll be a tight one this year between him and Gwin.
Really hope Loic can take the overall though, It would be well deserved, He's been mighty impressive over the last few years and something seems to have just clicked in him and he's really starting to deliver.

I'm suprised Bryceland isnt winning much as of late. Hopefully his luck will change as his style and control is amazing to watch, when you see him race it just looks effortless but you know he's in control and is doing everything he wants done. Sort of Minaar like but more style.

Today was a good day. Only went to Hamsterley but lovely weather pretty much all day, except for the snow and wind, which could have been nasty in my completely underdressed for it attire... but it was just nice dry snow balls, interspersed with more sun :D

30 miles or so all in, on two ridey bits.

I'm surprised with both of them, it seems like there both being held back somehow. I doubt it's poor pre-season training, they both seem to invest the time. Even if Ratboy just seems to mess about in the woods with his mates for it all :D

I still want to see Loic win this year. He's so quick and smooth. 45 days away before the next race :(

To be fair, Ratboy wasnt that far back in Lourdes, but he was way back at Cairns, maybe the track just didnt suite him, there were a lot of big names quite far down the order at cairns, just an oddball track, also bare in mind last time they were here, conditions were very different.

I'm gutted i'm gonna miss Fort Bill, I really wanted to go, but i'll be stuck in the polish wilderness over the race weekend and leogang...:(

Free trip to Poland, hope their putting you in a nice hotel. O no wait, it's just us that gets comfy hotels ;)

That's true, it really was down to the last few to get that podium. The coverage was a bit rubbish though, so it's hard to judge what's really going on up there. Can't wait for Fort Bill, favourite race of the season. I hope it's ****ing it down too.

Great results :)

my mate has just ordered the YT Jeffsey CF Pro. Soooo tempted!!

Do it! Though do you really need a 650 ultramega650benduro and a 29er too?

Anybody else using the Bell Super 2 MIPS helmet?

Picked one up last week to replace the Urge Enduro, and it's fantastic

Never have I worn such a comfy helmet :) LBS gave me a nice deal, and a discount on the chin guard should I decide to buy one in future

Go Outdoors have finally released a large framed version of their Calibre Dune, for those of us that prefer to have our behinds less than ~15cm above the handlebars.;)

Also have the Bell Super 2R. Only got it a few weeks back, so far I've only worn it with the chin guard (was doing an uplift day at BPW) - really liking it. Was initially worried I'd not like it enough to justify the cost but have no regrets now.
