Shop called to say everything on the bike it sorted apart from me needing a new bottom bracket as one side was completely seized...

So just bought a new Hope BB, which based on reviews shouldn't need changing again in the near future.

Going to book next Wednesday off work and get down to Aston Hill

Sorted i'll let you know mate. Usual riding mate is not out Saturday so I'll be on my tod Saturday if I haven't already agreed to do something with the Mrs :D

You know... it's her only Saturday off for the next 3 weeks... as if I don't spend enough time with her already.. I live with the silly cow!! :rolleyes: :mad: :D

I'm just going on my lonesome - getting up at silly o'clock in N Yorks to get to Bird (gonna demo an Aeris) for around about 8ish. Then having a pootle over to Swinley.

So if I see either of you (what time are you likely to be there) - I'd be more than happy to follow you around.

I couldn't even tell you tbh, i'm staying with family the night before then my mate is picking me up the next day! I'd say around the 8-9ish mark.
 
I'll be doing laps at swinley all afternoon on Saturday and Sunday morning. Holler at me; I'm the fatty on an enduro 29.
 
need some fork help - something bad has happened...
had the rockshox sektor tk fork serviced by CRC about 6 months ago - removing a spacer to increase the travel from 130 to 150mm, all was fine until the last few rides. the fork has been losing pressure every few days and then today after i pumped it up to 110psi (correct for my weight) 2 mins later there was a loud pop and i think a seal has blown. is this fixable or a terminal event for the forks? (4 years old now)

Air passing worn or split lower airchamber o-ring seal? excessive build up in pressure in lower leg will do that.
As SC says, new seals (full seal kit not just wiper seals) and a good service is what it needs.
