Yeah Claudio tweeted to say they got the track preview done just in time.
from the photos and videos i've seen so far made the rain at fort bill look like a little morning dew, the course itself turned into a river.
 
Back from an evening uplift at BPW. Damn I love that place... trails were dusty as dust tonight with the dry weather and running lurrrvvlly. :D :D

They were trialling a new bus routine tonight in a "train"esque way. The bus would leave at 5pm (add 5mins or so for everyone to get on) and then every half hour after that until the last bus at 7:30. So managed a full 6 runs tonight.


I've just replaced a knackered chain with a new one but on gears 9-10 its still slipping like a bitch as if the chain is jumping... how do I tell if the cassette is worn too? Same cassette as when I built the Shan last April... new cassette time too perhaps?

Think mine were a duff pair. After servicing them they were good for about 3 rides, and went back to being dire. Similar scenario to one of my mates who got it the same time as I did. He ended up sending his back to Windwave, who replaced the internals entirely. His were sound for a few rides and are now crap again.

Our experience seems to be the polar opposite to everyone else on these forks though.
 
Does anyone have or know anyone with a Whyte T-129? I'm looking at upping the 120 Pike RC on the SCR to a 140 for a bit more compliance on the down hill bits - anyone done it or thought about it needing it?
 
15 years out of the game. Today I purchased my dream bike from my childhood :D
Specialized FSR ground control Extreme. Just the frame and rear shock, going to build it up with parts from my current bike (over 10 years old) and pick up some Judy's or something similar (hopefully with lockout) as a general purpose rideout tool.
So excited! I know everything has moved on a lot in that time but the chance to build up a bike I lusted over as a kid was just too much to resist.
Paid £100 for it :D
