Well, who wouldn't have?
I haven't. Yet. Not literally anyway. Girlfriend approached. I am now considering doing an acupuncture course... just, y'know... in case.
Out of interest, those tear offs you can get for goggles... does such a thing exist for computer screens? Kickstarter?
Awesome day yesterday at Fort William, making up for Saturday being almost a write-off (some great 4X helped). Walked the course down from the top and could definitely see why they weren't riding it, bleurgh.
Anyhow - highlights for me include Manon crash-landing about three feet away from where I was standing, ow ow owie ow that looked harsh! We'd moved down to the bottom for the end of the men's race, was an amazing atmosphere watching Minaar's run.

If I'd been that close to Manon, I'd have rushed over and given her ass to mouth resuscitation... or whatever it's called.

What happened with Ratboy? I missed that. I saw Danny Heart get 7th during his run but not sure if anyone following him pushed him further down the rankings.

Ratboys crash from practice sadly put him out from racing. It did look pretty nasty though!

To be honest, I think everyone around was still going "oooooh! Also, where did that shoe go?" when she picked herself up and got on with it. Hats off for being hardcore.
That whole muddy section with the drop off there ^ was hilariously ridiculous. Tahnee doing the drop properly at the end of vid was great, she was the one gave us all a salute after almost going OTB on a jump later in the race run too.

Fair enough - at the time I didn't see what it was (eyes only for Manon obv) but somebody online said shoe so I assumed they were right. *something* went whizzing over our heads anyway, must've just been the visor I guess.
If I'd have done that crash I bet I'd have dislocated both shoulders and caught a concussion.
No need to worry about the crash at the bottom, your dinky shoulders wouldn't have made it that far down
Track pumps are so last year. Just 'aquired' a 2hp air compressor.
Welcome to the 90's, I got a flash charger that will rape the face off your compressor lol.
Seriously, it explodes air faster than any compressor and no faff + being portable., well worth the purchase if you have any inclination! (also great fun for scaring the sh!t out of your dog)

I think so. I have never experienced something that extreme though even on old brakes
Lucky I am 105kg or else I think I would have been in real trouble on impact.

A compressor is a PITA for bike tyres tbh. It takes 10 times longer to do the job because you have to wait for it to charge.
Just get some co2 canisters if you cant be bothered to pump.
