Hope things are ok. That was the main reason that I went for DDC's in series in this one. I had an 18w that I trusted my life with and a 18w from the newer ones that I had no idea how reliable it would be. Although there is increase in noise level using the 2 together, I can sit worry-free and fire up the monitor software once in a blue moon.

Monitoring software whats that, lol if you dont mind answering
 
Got it to work again but it`s not 100% no damage to cpu,it`s got the brown impeller in it so it`s one of the older one`s,my other pump has a blue impeller and work`s a treat.

I do have the blue wire from the pump fitted to the cpu header but i done a fresh install of vista last nite and put my bios to stock,so i was lucky i didnt blow the cpu.

Im going to rma the pump and im also going to buy a backup incase this happen`s again.

Glad to hear everything is ok m8, will i be able to fit my pump to my motherboard?
 
Always a good idea to have your pumps wired up to a monitor if possible. Been a few DDC+ dying lately - Did you use the gel pads Clone?

well my watercooling kit arived today, all bar the bayrez anyhow, man them rads are huge loldo i need to screw the pump down into my case, once i reseive it, still not here wish i had ordered it direct now, ah well, it msut be another week then lol. al this kit here and i cant do squat . its killing me

Yes i did m8,but i have the front 120mm fan blowing over both pump`s,i also left a gap under the pump`s to allow cool air to go under,the pump that is playing up has a brown impeller this is a older model than the blue one,tbh it was playing up from day one and i should have sorted it out.

DataVampire ive sent the uv led yesterday m8 1st class :)

Sleaving kit arived, guess while im waitinf for my case i will sleave a few wires lol.
 
Well ive been very bored waiting for my case, so i have sleaved my pump power cable, put pft tape on the barbs, then put the barbs in, i did not tighten it up to much, so i hope i have done it correct.

I thought the brown(orange) were the ultras and the blue were the pro pumps? Are they both blue now?
 
I emailed a bloke about buying a another pump and he said all the new 18watt are blue impellers.

DataVampire you take the blanking barb from the top and move it to the side inlet,then put your barb on top.

Its hard without instructions lol. Thanks clone i worked it out lol, was so obvious ah well,
so my pump is what it says then, thank god for that heeehee
