In this photo it looks like you have put the neo foam on top of the fans. Its supposed to go on the rad with the fans on top, sealing the air flow into the rad.

Maybe its just a reflection and i have it wrong :rolleyes:

Im going to be frank here, that case don't look good at all. Especially those grills. But whats most important is, you like it.
 
Yeah the gasket is in the wrong place, unless you have 2. I have mine like this: case|gasket|fan|shroud|rad.
The pic seems to suggest you have: case|gasket|fan|rad .
Which isn't ideal. Tbh I wouldn't worry too much unless you are a perfectionist.

Looks like you put a hell of a lot of ptfe tape on the thermochill barbs - better safe than sorry though eh ;).

I too don't like the rad grills but style is a personal thing and as long as you like it thats all that matters - never build a pc to suit other folks taste tbh.

You certainly look like you're enjoying yourself m8 and its coming along nicely.

Lol i agree i dont like them iether i might jsut put the standard ones on tbh, but the toruble is ther eis not much choice for people in the uk for 120mm fan grills, for us and other countries there are plenty of choices. yes thinking about it im gonna put the horrible chrome standard ones on, i will not pay the stupid amount for the ac ryan plain grills, ridiculas for plain grills.

Gotta be honest here, that gasket was a pain in the arse, gave me nothing but probs, i originaly had it the other way around, it was all shiveled up wouldnt sit corectly,make sno diff i got another one comming, hopefully that will be better lol, not to mention when i put it on the first time it stuck wrong lol, anyhow i plan to rectify it before my system goes live.

Nonono, you get me all wrong - you have it looking very nice - its just you obviously are not content with it so why hold back for that sake of an extra few quid coz you know it will bug you?
 
Man thats a lot to spend on a case. I'd lose the whole 'high voltage' grills though, they make it look cheap.

Apart from that though i think its looking great! when do you plan to have it finished by?

so far i have spent around £30 on fan grills alone, i jsut found a site that sells them, the standard black ones, £20 including delivery, i mean for plain grills thats a giant rippoff

Im awaiting a delivery on my new cpu water block (Swiftech Apogee GTX Extreme) the water rez, well actualy two of them, some more cathodes as i mentioned above and some switches, so it all depends on how long that takes
 
If you like what you have then as I said earlier it dosn't matter what anyone else thinks - its your case and you have to look at it. :cool:
 
I used to be like that - 'they' looked great friday night - saturday morning was a different story :(
