Mountain Mods U2-UFO or TJ-07?

Like the rheostat m8 and repacks. Might go for the repacks myself if I decide on a dual loop.
 
Thx for the info/warning Clone ;) I might not put a nut or anything there. Aslong as its tight at the back it shouldn't be a prob.

Shame about those damn green pcb's though m8 :(. Why they changed from black is beyond me.
 
Nope. :mad: Could have really done with it this week tbh as all my other stuff is arriving then. Still got my fingers crossed but they have been this way for the past 4 weeks :(
 
It appears my case is somewhere over the atlantic atm. So unless your tygon is on the same plane/boat then I doubt I will have mine up and running before yours m8. Longest I've been without a gaming PC for years and although I have a P4 and Ti4200 as a spare machine I just cant bring myself to use it. Resigned to laptop use for 6 weeks :( Still it looks like my other stuff is all set to arrive next monday/tuesday so at least I can do a little prep work.

Clone where do you fit the HD's? I see you have the pa160 in the HD-racks place, aint using the HD-rack? Also what fitment are the dual fans on the back - thermochill or BIX?

So if I fitted a bix to the back where could I put the HD's? Thx m8../me goes shopping for bix/GT :)
 
Be very carefull with the gel pads m8 as although the reduce the noise and vibration of the pumps they also insulate some of the heat - been a few reports of the ddc2's dying on XS that have been mounted this way.

I'll just wait I think before making the 2nd loop. Don't really need it until I get a 2nd GTX anyway as the PA will cope with the cpu + gfx. Don't really wanna make it too complex and messy - I just want it working for now :)
 
Don't reckon I'm gonna need it m8 as mine will be mounted on the dampers with heatsinks stuck to the bottom like the ones over at XS. Might take it off you for the D4 though when I get my 2nd loop off the ground. Decided to stick to one loop for now until I get he 2nd gtx.

....and my case is in Coventry (customs?) so hopefully that will be with me before the week is out so I can finally get started on the new build. :D
 
I'm actually hoping I get the drive plates instead of the rack coz it gives greater flexability for a dual loop tbh. If I get the 9 rack fancy swapping lol?
 
I have 4 HD's (3 minimum) so I will need some form of mounting, we shall see coz its suggested that the case has been released from customs so will be sent out monday/tuesday. :)
 
Well done marscay - looks great. My UFO lands on tuesday - sure I saw a crop circle on the lawn this morning :D

My God its gorgeous(and huge!) - even better looking in the flesh! :D

When I first unwrapped it I didn't think it seemed as big as I expected - but now I keep looking at it, it seems to get bigger with every glance lol.

Now the fun bit starts. :D

Will start a project log later. ;)
