Mouth first questions later

Pretty miffed , but doing the going down and attempting to grab an apology is something I've done in the not to distant past to not so great effect , I don't linger on these things nor am I the sort to demand anything but she was pretty upset , and my 4 year old son was in the car which was the real peeve.

I'm happy to leave it if needs be , but don't want the the other half thinking it can happen again . Really don't like police myself at the best of times so figuring getting any form of authority involved would make the situation worse

The only way to maintain your alpha male status in your household is to go down there and:

You may or may not want to assess his build first to see if you have any height/weight advantage over him first. Or you could leave a note on his van with your address asking him to come round to give you a quote for some work, and then you place yourself in your garage doing a heavy weights session to intimidate him and then launch into a tirade about him abusing your wife and child.

Poo through his letterbox.

Assume boxing stance.

Inform him you can get a Mac-10 in 10 minutes.

Raise a legion of queen wasps and unleash them upon him.

Confuse him into submission by asking whether or not his van is a Bugatti Veyron.

Invite him to your house and win him over by dazzling him with the picture quality of your Panasonic GT50 plasma (£799) (Reference level).

I think this make the most sense , the first thing I asked after she told me was how big was he haha :D .

Thinking it's just gonna be one of those things , driven up and can see no such van on the street and no obvious outside work going on anywhere

Poo in a plastic bag, go and find his van, then when no one is around, scrape the poo under the door handles.

find the van and see if there are details on it, phone up and complain, hope he's an employee and not a sole trader! If he is a sole trader, get him to turn up at a random address far away for a quote!

That would stick in my craw too, but you have to realise that there's no course of action really open to a chap of sensible disposition. Just take solace in the fact that the mono-mirrored knave is likely to make more poor decisions in life and probably has a very ugly wife and thick kids.

Go and speak with him. Explain he upset your wife and scared your son. Don't be aggressive, be factual. Don't leave his ego nowhere to turn. You'll probably get an apology.

Life doesn't have to be a conflict.

Go down the road, find out who the company is and then just put it on a blacklist of companies to never deal with. Tell the other half all is sorted and you'll be thought of as the hero.

What Burnsy said, I'd be more inclined to go around and have a chat, not a "word" with him and then if he's working there and he's not the guy who owns the company - have a word with the company.

When I was privately employed my boss would have given me a written warning for that sort of conduct, he'd be in bother especially if it's a company that relies on word of mouth for business but in the future the wife should take out her phone and start recording.. always the best way tbh.

+1

Sounds like this guy needs to learn a lesson or two on how to be polite, and not a ****. This could have the potential to make him lose his job if other people have also reported this guy.

Actually yeah, if he's from a proper company I'd make a complaint to them.

:D:D:D

Just report him to his company... or just forget about it

If you need to come on here and ask what to do means one thing.

You are a coward and will do nothing.

Very contructive , I have been upto the road in question and haven't seen a van or any obvious construction work .

Far be it from me to ask for advise on how to deal with a situation in which could possibly not turn out to brilliantly .

Obviously haven't read all I've wrote in previous posts .

Dang, if you're confident in your fighting abilities damn right go and speak to the idiot be aware though that if he's working he might have tools handy:eek::mad:
