Move away from DPD, they're dragging you down

DPD are great both here and at Uni. ****tylink on the other hand regularly come out with just the "Sorry you weren't in" cards. I know this because I opened the door when the guy was coming to post it having had issues with them before and he told me he didn't even have the package in the van! Also have had them post the card through and promptly drive off without ringing the bell or knocking on the door.

DPD rock for me. Also every company will go through this, if you said city link was great for you then someone would say they were bad for them. This is the real world and things like this happens to every company no matter what they sell/do.

Whilst it is relieving that a few of you have had good experiences with DPD, it still doesn't help my apparent recurring issues with OCUK/DPD, or others who have had issues with DPD. Place yourself in my boots and truthfully reflect on what you would be feeling in this situation.

Very annoyed and I have been with Parcel2go parcel services, but what do you hope to gain? Nothing, other people with parcel2go via Hermes have had great service but I didnt. But you see what I mean, it happens.

I would be raging. I'd then calm down and ask 5UB nicely to sort it out for me :p

DPD have always been awesome for me, the delivery guy just leaves the parcels hidden in the porch. Although the card reader that was delivered today was by Royal Mail, weird.

whichever courier a company uses, there will always be someone that is not happy

nature of the beast , they cant keep 100% of people happy, its far too dependant on many different factors like area, weather, drivers etc.

Good luck with yodel, I had a parcel once that took 3 weeks to arrive :)

yea thats how long mine took and the tracking info was all messed up, left at at depot for 2 days and they didnt even no why, it apparently went out for delivery 3 times but there was delays and twice they apparently called and left a card when they didn't, 19 chargable calls later got my parcell finally and still indispute with them!

I have a policy of never using 0844, 0871 or other chargeable numbers.

'saynoto0870' can invariably find an alternative 'national rate' (in many cases free) number for most couriers... often directly to your local distribution depot.

Personally I am also a DPD fan, and invariably receive excellent service from them.

Is this via parcel2go? If so they have a live chat service so you can avoid the phone calls. Not that they help much

Have nothing bad to say about DPD, always been on time for me and never had a package go missing. Fault usually lies with a driver and not the company.
