Move away from DPD, they're dragging you down

Always been ok with DPD. They seem to either come at 11am in the morning or 17:00 - 18:00 at night. Which is helpful because someone will definitely be in.

I still prefer UPS as the best though.

I have a policy of never using 0844, 0871 or other chargeable numbers.

'saynoto0870' can invariably find an alternative 'national rate' (in many cases free) number for most couriers... often directly to your local distribution depot.

i just used the number on yodel's website also the number yodel gave me for local depot but still had to call both multiple times.

Is this via parcel2go? If so they have a live chat service so you can avoid the phone calls. Not that they help much

no was just through yodel. now anytime i order anything from any where i always hope its not yodel or city link but where i live there the main ones everyone uses :(

ive had many deliveries from ocuk via dpd, always on time, and by on time, i mean ALWAYS delivered to me at 7.30am in the morning :) gotta love the wakeup call from the delivery guy saying they are on the way haha!

not taking the ****, but honestly that is some good ****!

Im sure we all have something bad to say about every delivery company.. so its not like theres one that stands out.. well UPS are very good in my area but im sure their rates aren't cheap. Geopost whether it be interlink express or DPD have always been good for me. And city link have never missed a parcel for me either.. As for Yodel.. meh! But as i said you can go around in circles all day long!

Very annoyed and I have been with Parcel2go parcel services, but what do you hope to gain? Nothing, other people with parcel2go via Hermes have had great service but I didnt. But you see what I mean, it happens.

whichever courier a company uses, there will always be someone that is not happy

nature of the beast , they cant keep 100% of people happy, its far too dependant on many different factors like area, weather, drivers etc.

Pretty much nothing else to say in this thread. :D

I think it's just down to being unlucky or maybe having a bad driver in your area. I've had no problems with citylink or yodel! I've only had a problem once and I can't remember who it was with. It was a mobile phone that kept going between 2 desinations for over a week!

To Northern Ireland DPD have always been great, DX on the other hand doesn't seem to know where it is, or doesn't want to know ?

I would always pay extra to have DPD deliver rather than DX.

DPD are excellent where I live. It's just all down to where you live, Citylink in my area are quite good too, depends on the drivers for your area etc, some are crap, but thats life.

DPD have always been great for me, always on tme , 10/10 from me

same here :)

but ive only ordered 3 items from ocuk in the last year so cant really comment, but those 3 times have all been fine.

That doesn't sound like DPD at all had nothing but on time service from them, are you sure your blaming the right company? 'Nothing on record' to 'Awaiting receipt of parcel'< That points to them not receiving the parcel from OCUK and just getting the billing details on time, they cant deliver it if they hadn't got hold of it.

I have just received an email from DPD advising me that my order (not from OcUK) will be delivered between 10:33 and 11:33 this morning... and that the driver's name is Lee!

Edit: He just made it by the skin of his teeth... delivered at 11:33... he blamed the sat-nav!!

Only courier i've had problems with is CityLink. I don't think they exist around my area now though. Not seen them in years.
