You must be living on Druidstone Road then![]()
Cardiff is a dump.
Last time i went there was august bank holiday 2006 to see my Nan.
Within 45 minutes of parking up someone had stoved the windows of my new van in just for fun.
I've been everywhere in the country near enough, and cardiff is the only place I have not felt safe in, even before the van incident.
Its a **** hole.
nicer surrounding areas than Leeds has though![]()
live in swansea, simple answer
How can you say that? I admit stuff does happen here somtimes but Cardiff has been developed over the last 10 years and is a really nice city to work, live and play in. England is hardly a great place to live either, shootings, murders etc etc its always on the news for something. Cardiff is not perfect but are there any places left in the UK that are?
Quite easily, I move my hands towards the keyboard and push the buttons to make the words i want to come up on the screen.
Cardiff is total dump.
I've lived there (unfortunately) visited relatives there, its horrible.
Back in the early 80's it wasnt that bad, a bit of graffiti, your normal brain dead inner city vandalism of public buildings etc etc. But at least the shops were open and you could park your car in broad daylight outside your house, as my dad did several times with expensive motors when he was there.
2006 it was boarded up derelicts, smashed up empty shops fronts, and empty streets.
I made a post about it back then as well.
Im sorry but exactly which part of Cardiff are you talking about? Because as far as i am aware all cities in the UK have area's that leave a lot to be desired but this does not represent the cities entire standard. In the past 10 years Cardiff has undergone massive re-development and is really coming into its own. From what i can remember Cardiff was a bit run-down and a lot of buildings were left derelict in the 80's and early 90's but now... you must have had your eyes closed!
