Just messing about lol but when i did play it was utterly butterly

and it was stable aswell and thats with only 1.35v compaired to the asus card that got it at 1.4v not to mention i have 2 5870s not 1 so thats pritty awsome imho.

If the 5850 can clock to same as 5870 without a voltage increase, id be happy with just that overclock. (Obviously the more the better, ha)

As in, I can't change the clocks over 900/1300..

I'm using the Sapphire 5870..

When I put it over 900/1300, it resets back to the last setting that was under 900/1300, although the voltage change stays..

Does anyone know what the safe volts are for all the cards? is there a list somewhere? I'd love to try it on my GTX260... Been overclocking with Rivatuner for years.

Yup, uses the same up6206ak vrm controller as the non-reference 4870...which can't be pencil or softmodded, only hardmod which I don't want to do as it tends to affect the resale value.

And there you were the other day trying to convince me that 4870 could be volt modded in software/bios when I was saying I couldn't when I owned mine.
