Our replacement stock of the MSI HD 7950 Boost cards have arrived, I've test a couple of these and am glad to report they do not have the 100% fan speed issue when GPU temperature goes above 58c:-

A truly incredible card, we found the cards were levelling out around 64-68c under-load which had the fans hovering around 50-55% mark which was indeed very quiet. Also manual fan control worked perfectly!
