good choice ;)

no-one has reported anything to me yet :)

over a hundred units sold to OcUK customers already so i wouldve expected to see a number of forum threads if there were any issues.

Mine's worked fine with no problems ([email protected]/4Gb XMS3). The only thing I don't like is the lack of vertical sata ports; they're all pointing out under my drive cage where I can't get at them easily, and cabling is a bit of a pain, especailly if you want to change things once the board's in place. This isn't an MSI problem though, they all seem to be saving space by double stacking them at the edge like this now.

It makes sense, but it's not ideal for me personally and a couple sticking out of the motherboard would have been a helpful option.

Oh, and don't forget IDE ports are a thing of the past in this generation. I tend not to pay much detailed attention to tech between upgrades and I nearly got caught out by this. Fortunately SATA DVD drives are cheap now, but it still adds to the upgrade costs.

PS This is also not an MSI thing... the CPU socket lever *will* scare you as you're forcing it into place.

most ppl see this as a good thing :p only the cheapest boards in the P67 market have vertical SATA ports

vertical ports get in the way of graphics cards and are not as easy to cable tidy the cables behind the motherboard tray.

whats the best bios for overclocking? fitted my TRUE black now so wanna get at least 4.4ghz, is it just the latest is best, so 1.8b6?

Hehe you are not wrong there, i was sure i was going to brake something with the noise it made :P Was all ok though :)

Although i think i have not got mine set up right as it bleeps loads on boot, and i think i broke a bios as i got a flasing blue light :s but thats really probably my fault not the boards.

Looks good.. I have the P55 version and its a good board.. Unfortunately i cant clock my Xeon very high so may sell both and replace with a i5-2500K for some 4.5Ghz+ Fun with my sli GTX460 :D

The bios fixed
1. Fill device SSID.
2. Update LAN PXE ROM.
