Hi Yewen i rang this morning asking about the limit on amount of boards i can order because me and my friend wanted one, and your sales said i could order 2 at the same time without any problems.
So i did that on the 1st wave and got my email confirmation and it has been ok all day until i just checked and it has been reduced to just one board.....
Now if your sales said 1 board per customer he could have ordered on the 1st wave at the same time and got a board.
Because when i rang up after i had made the order they said there was only 28 pre orders before me, so i would have been in the 1st batch with no placement issues and the sales advisor said everything was fine.
Now if they made me aware i could have at least told my mate to order on the second wave.....
Where to go from here ? since you took the £171.01 out of my account already.

Congratulations to everyone who managed to get eaither of these its a cracking deal! I really wanted one, been sat at my desk at work waiting all day. I go for some lunch and its all over. I knew they would be going fast but didnt quite expect it to be that quick. Is that it or is there more stock at the 55% discount price?

Can you do this with the stock CPU cooler and still get reasonable results? If not, which easy-to-fit near-silent cooler would you recommend?
Has anyone who ordered in the 2nd wave moved on from being in the warehous queue yet? I'm still there, and am hoping that this is down to OcUK being disgustingly busy with i5-mania, rather than the possibility that I didn't get one!
Yup, stock cooler is a little on the feeble side but it can handle a mild clock.
None of the second wave will be shipping out yet as we are awaiting stock to arrive from MSI for these orders.

I didn't order these MSI board as a 55% off cos it rubbish board and does not overclock very well indeed.
is there a reason that the **PROMO STOCK** versions of the GD80 and GD65 are still listed on the site? but obviously no eta and out of stock. I know its been said that theres no more at that price but on other sites once they were sold out they were removed
