MSI to offer 55% launch-day discount on P55 motherboards

Eek, 26 oversold in the first wave and 50 in the next... I don't know how much stock OC had, but it makes it feel it might be a bit of a lottery even if the product is shown as in the warehouse queue ;-(

If there is not enoughs stock to fufil orders people made will there be something horrid like a un"lucky" draw?

Could be, maybe, you'd know this how exactly?

Thing is, with more and more traditional northbridge functions on the chip there is less on the board, other than power management, a good overclock is more dependent on the chip.

I'm feeling the same way, ordered at 11:07 this morning in the first wave but still in the warehouse queue. By the sounds of it though we shouldn't have to wait too long for OcUK to get the stock in, hopefully no longer than a couple of days :)

Annoying, I put my loyalties with OcUK when another etailer had physical stock to ship the same day at promo price.

Just another day without a PC :o

I've just had a chat with your sales team, and they suggested that you do have all the stock in to fulfill all the orders of those people who have been allocated boards...this seems to conflict with your suggestion earlier. Any idea who's right?

You say that, but if the customer services team has to go through each order individually and email or phone them then I expect it could take a while...particularly as a fairly large number of people who ordered won't have been reading these forums, won't know what's been going on, and will therefore probably complain as well.

Anyway, my point (or rather question) was that I was told that there is enough stock, currently at the warehouse, to fulfill all of the orders of those who have been (or will be) allocated boards. Yewen suggested that this wasn't the case, and that they were still waiting for the stock for the second wave to arrive from MSI...I was just wondering who's correct on this!!! :D

Off for a run, here's hoping for no depressing motherboard-related voicemails or emails when I return!!!

You have nothing constructive to add with regard to I5 and/or these MSI boards other than to blindly put them down in an attempt to justify your ownership of an I7 rig. It's boring and annoying to read, especially when your spelling/grammar are awful and you fail to post anything to backup any of your comments. Kindly troll elsewhere please and stop feeling bitter at other people getting good deals.
 
I think I managed to get oen of these boards, just says I'm in the queue.

Whats going on with Prices? I see a few people are getting refunds? I paid a total of 71.33 for the 65, that includes shipping...

Firstly guys nobody in the sales team has been told to say that to any customer who calls up, I would like to know who has told you that manic111 as I scripted a response the sales team were to give to anyone requesting information. Post in the customer support forum with your order number if you could please. :)

I am currently working with MSI to offer EVERY customer something who got an order in, however this takes a little bit of time for me to sort and this is why it is a little up in the air at the moment. I am working on the assumption that everyone who has ordered a board would prefer to receive one of these on the promotion rather than a refund. :)

Been one hectic day, managed to nip off and get some fuel and food at 4:45. :D

Thanks for sticking with us guys, will get a result for everyone one way or another out of this one.
 
Never mind, I see now that the 80's were originally priced higher... I almost had one, by the time I had registered it changed to out of stock so I abandoned ship and went for the 65 :D

Only thing I think its missing is the cooling, but my Antec 1200 should sort that right out :D

Edit: Damn reading that, ywewen, maybe I should have just gone through with the 80 board :(. Oh well, thanks for your efforts :D
