Excellent procedure in place here.

I'm not sure I'll actually take MSi up on the offer as I still have a Marvell port free and unsure I want the hassle of replacing the mobo when the issue should never affect me.

You should do as if you where to sell it at a later date it would be worth nothing as this wold be the 1st Question B2 or B3 Version

I am not yet a MSI customer but would still like to thank you for the time and effort you have put into this solution.

As a result of your work here I will be chosing your brand over others in the future.
 
Sounds brilliant, I got this in an email yesterday and I have to say it's more than I was expecting.
I also don't have most of the original accessories any more and no longer have the pin protector for the CPU slot or the anti-static bag, is this going to be a problem?

I take it if I keep my B2 board I will still get bios updates etc as normal? Or would the bios used on B3 boards just be the same anyway?. Can't afford the £150 or to be without pc for a few days if it can be helped so don't really want a swap. I only have optical drives on the affected ports anyway so no biggy.
 
ScottieB I've got an issue that at the end of April I'm going to be moving.

Can I register now and arrange a courier for May or does the date of collection need to be close after registration?

I don't mind waiting to register until the 30th April as I should have a new address by then but just wanted to check.

I notice you registered for an advance replacement, I'm hoping to get them going next week, i'm just finalising all the paypal details.

The first few standard exchanges went out yesterday.
