Msi Ventus 3080ti or Asus 6900xt Tuf

I mostly play Tomb Raider, Assassin's Creed, GTA, Horizon etc. Do not play multiplayer that much.

I am looking for the best 4k performance card
We have benchmark threads for Forza, Valhalla, and Tomb Raider on this forum so if those are your games as you say and you want to know which is fastest in those games look at those threads.

You’ll find my 6900 XT Toxic Extreme in 1st place in most of them. At 4K, 1440P and 1080P. :)

Thank you so much, I will look at it shortly

You shouldn't pay more than £800 for the performance on offer from a 3080Ti, above that is robbery, mugging and scalper theftage.

£650 = 3080 FE (yes not at inflation, but MSRP) + 10% for 3090/3080 Ti = £730 then add some price premium uplift = £800

£1400 is a mug off price at the going rate fishing for mugs, that's almost double a 3080FE MSRP for what 10-15% upgrade and 1yr away from getting 2X perf... LUL

I have another dilemma. Do I buy the MSI RX 6900 XT Gaming Z Trio Ultimate og the EVGA RTX 3080 Ti FTW3 ULTRA? The EVGA card is 28% more expensive, because the AMD cards are on sale here i Denmark. I play sim-racing mainly in 5120x1440p resolution.

If the cards are the same price i would go with the Nvidia card due to better raytracing , dlss and you also get fsr as well as a few other neat features that may or may not be useful depending on your use case . Native gaming performance between them is pretty much identical on most games unless a specific game title has been sponsored and usually runs better on that brand of card, think AMD and Assassin's Creed and Nvidia with Tomb raider etc

I was going to go with a 6900XT but I decided to go with a 3080Ti, the price was eye watering 1445 for a Zotac HALO 3080Ti, I'd never have considered it however I'll get £530 for my Series X stuff and £666 from what my 3080 mined, so only cost £270.

Some man maths going on here :P
Surely the X cost you about £450 at least? (I dont know what the RRP is for them)

And if you already have a 3080FE... why bother with a 3080Ti at all? (unless you can sell the 3080 for close to the cost of the 3080Ti) Esp if you are mining on the side.

I sold 3080 FE for 1445 and made nearly 700 on it with mining. Sold the Series X for £490.
