Are your USB drives MBR or GPT?

I don't think that will make a difference... no reason why it should that I can think of. x570 boards don't need the 8 pin supply to function, so you are not running a risk going without it.

I'm not sure, and my pc is now in bits so can't check, I just reformatted them to FAT32 before unzipping the file, dragging it across to the USB drive and renaming it MSI.ROM

Overclocking - Advanced CPU Configuration - AMD Overclocking. PBO might need to be set to advanced, I can't remember.

Do you have anything else enabled other than advanced ? Literally don’t have curve optimizer there so weird , same board chip and bios

It's certainly possible. I had an issue with a MSI X99 board a few years ago and after a few emails back and fourth, they sent me a beta bios to try out.
