Which 3090ti do you have? How big is the cooler on it?I'm going to have a rant, I wanted to add a third NVME via the PCI-E lane with an adapter, but my 3090Ti covers the lane entirely with the shroud and there's not even space to fit a riser, what's the point in these motherboards having all these features that are obviously making the price higher when you physically can't access them due to the stupid design of I guess both the GPU and Mobo manufacturers not thinking about where everything goes and it being able to be accessed ? You shouldn't have to be making sacrifices on premium boards like this, hopefully something changes in the next gen either GPU's start getting smaller or the Mobo designers come up with ways to make all the features accessible regardless of what GPU you have

Riser cable with both male and female 90 degree adaptors. I did think of a riser cable, but I'm not sure there's enough space between the slot and the GPU shroud above it, can't mount the GPU on a bracket and use riser cable on that either because it would mean my USB PCI card would no longer fitRiser cable with both male and female 90 degree adaptors. Not cheap though.
What size are your existing drives? That's what I ended up going with to accomodate a third 2tb drive, I'm waiting for prices to be a little cheaper for the 4tbs but even then I'd still want to be able to use the older drivesAlternatively get a external NVME enclosure.
BIOS profiles will save your fan curve and other settings, not just voltages.Hi guys,
Just finished updating my bios, latest update, and spent a bit of time setting my fan curves back up.
Question, does the OC Profile save feature save any other settings, other than voltages etc., does it save system settings or anything?
Thanks.
See my comments above. I've saved bios settings to USB, hoping not to have to go through the process of setting up my fans again after an update...Do bios profiles get lost when you do a bios update, just trying to find a way to NOT have to manually set up the fans after an update.
I saw you post and the response, but neither infers that the profiles are retained after a bios update. The saving is designed to allow you to easily switch back and forth between a number of different scenarios where you've change many things. Given that bios updates often provide new abilites, or indeed extra settings on existing options, I'm wondering does a bios update wipe profile saves.See my comments above. An update will reset any of your existing settings so best to save them to a USB.I saw you post and the response, but neither infers that the profiles are retained after a bios update. ah, now there is an option I didn't realise existed...thanksAn update will reset any of your existing settings so best to save them to a USB.
Are these the "OC Settings?"An update will reset any of your existing settings so best to save them to a USB.
It'll save all of your settings as far as I'm aware. One thing I did find when flashing my board recently was that it didn't then recognise the old save file, maybe because there was a big overhaul in the microcode or something, so it doesn't hurt to take pics of the various screens just in caseAre these the "OC Settings?"
