Multi-quoting

The button will change in due course. I wasn't editing it to only remove it later :)

I could see it come in handy, however, is it possible to limit this to text only? Multiquoting images would be crazy.

That is one of the things that will be monitored.

Of course, if it is only one or two people I will merely give them a kicking, rather than removing the feature entirely.

Bah, what font is that on the button?

OooooOOOooo. Quoted! Works well, I think it#ll save a lot of time in big threads.

This is quite fancy

I too motion for the button to be visually changed, potentially just made smaller so it is inline with the other buttons.

You click the multi quote button on as many posts you want, then on the last post you want to quote, press the normal quote button.

Cheers, the multiquote button didn't exist when I asked otherwise I'd have simply messed around with it until I worked out how to do it. The feature is pretty easy to use although I'll probably forget and do it manually for a while.

I think it's good, dont see how it could be abused,

I think you have too much faith in mankind, if it can be abused it will be.

It's this kind of suggestion that slightly irritates me on my own forum. Isn't it blatantly obvious that it will just be a matter of time until it will be changed to match the theme better? I'm sure the admins are already well aware of the issue.

It's just a new feature that is being tweaked and tested, and suggestions like this are little more than pointless nit-picking.

Whenever I introduce a new feature I basically need to know two things - does it work, and do people like it. What I don't need to know (at this stage) is "I don't like the icon". :/

/rant over. :p

I am testing this today. Please let me know your thoughts on it, there is likely to be a trial period where if it isn't abused we'll look to keep it if feedback is favourable.

I like the idea of multi quoting.

Far easier than needing to contend with the need of typing in BB code which is annoying :p

Now we just need a proper button in the style of the others but with 'multi' on it or something.

Just seeing how many quotes I can make - delete this post if it's not considered useful. Good feature though :)

Edit - just the three then, good stuff.
