Multi-quoting

The way I handle multi-quotes on my own forum is that if you hit 'quote' it adds the quote to the quick reply box. You can then add another quote and so on.

i'm not so keen on it not working in quick reply, which is what i use 100% of the time unless i'm quoting some one directly.

also, would it be possible to have a less incongruous button?

A few other forums I frequent have multi-quote, and its a feature I use quite a bit and would like to see implemented here. :)

Yea I use another forum quite a lot thats got Multi quote, very good feature, cant remember what forum it is, think its Overclockers.net

Gah this forum already quotes too much as it is

I'm liking this :)

What's the max you can quote.... 3 by the looks of it? Without doing it manually of course.

Whenever I introduce a new feature I basically need to know two things - does it work, and do people like it. What I don't need to know (at this stage) is "I don't like the icon". :/

/inconsistent rant over. :(

I've highlighted some inconsistencies in your argument. If you are designing a system you do not negate the interface in favour of "does it work and do people like it".. it may work like a charm and people may love the concept.. but if it looks gash then do people still like it?

In other words, I dont like the icon so nerrr!

I am testing this today. Please let me know your thoughts on it, there is likely to be a trial period where if it isn't abused we'll look to keep it if feedback is favourable.

Its about time this addon was added. This addon has been asked for before back when you was asking for ideas to improve the forum. Good job :).

I don't really care ;)
