Oh god, an Estate agent using their jumped up 'fees' to buy a Phantom and then fly it about in a built up area for comercial reasons with no license...

Could there be a more justifiable murder?

But if you read what the email says estate agents, unless they are filming something out in the middle of nowhere and from 50m away, would need permission from the CAA to fly in the vicinity of a building or in a built up area.
 
The Inspire 1 seems like crazy money for something that's going to be wrecked by a single motor failure.

Most of the people who will be using it will have insurance I'd imagine, still a lot to lose if it's a small outfit without a backup though.

In other news, this video from Bruce on 5" props is pretty interesting. Shame he didn't put his results in a table for ease of comparison though.

Yeah, I was just looking at that thinking it might be quite a fun thing!

Possibly the cobra 2208 or sunnysky 2207's on 7" props I reckon. I'm tempted, but not sure if I have the hangar/shelf space. Already have 2 quads, a 300mm hexa anf a 360mm hexa on the way.

I wonder if it will take a y6 conversion........

I have a terrible track record with electrics, so can someone just confirm, can I power a DJI Zenmuse and iOSD II from a 22.2v 6s LiPo? The specs of each say 4S~12S and 3S~6S respectively, so as thought it's the iOSD that's on the cusp... but within it.

Just don't want to blow the thing.
 
This morning I got my customs invoice through email for my HK order, charge is £57.

I was going to go through the order on another site and see how much it works out at if i had gone else where but I really don't want to put my self in a bad mood, I will just mark this up as experience and go forth with a little more knowledge. Total spend so far is £445 without fpv gear :eek: and i still need to order a lipo charger and some more battery's.

On the subject of knowledge I have been drowning in the youtube videos and user manuals for all the gear I have purchased and how to go about setting up a quad for it's maiden flight, it's fun but so consuming! I suppose it is always going to be much steeper for the first time learner.

How much was the order? £57 Doesn't seem so bad? I doubt it would've been much cheaper buying through from HK uk warehouse. Often, a lot of their stuff is on backorder so you end buying from other suppliers who aren't as cheap, paying extra postage etc.

Both of those will be fine. I run the iOSD Mk2 from 6S with no issues.

Same here I was £63 customs charge from HK and was around £250 order.

Watch some videos - get it set up and go from there. I was worried the 1st time but it flew great.
 
Im really getting to grips with he little Q4, I can do pretty nippy moves in the small bedroom, getting the grip of banked turns and fast direction changes, the other half is demented so all is good :D
