Great little quad. The motors will die after maybe 20 flights and the 2 min flight time will grate after a while though.
I converted mine with 7mm motors, a different frame and a 500mAh battery (see a few posts back) for 8 minute flights and a much more robust craft.
The really great thing with the QX though is that you can transfer to another frame and use bigger motors pretty easily. The FPV model has a stronger flight board and can take up to 8mm motors if you really want to tear the place up.
Was wondering about the brushed motors. I'll get a few on order. I saw your post, think it was lingering subconsciously and helped me during an impulse buy
Just been for a gander outside today with it, 4 batteries ripping through the street, around lamposts, quiet road here, wife kept and eye for cars but it's quiet here and the size is really barely any danger to anything. What a blast! So incredibly stable for the size, and I'm really impressed by the VTx. I can fly through my house, outside, back through windows, down the stairs, out to the garden and only really when I hit 3-4 walls between me it starts getting a bit snowy. Major thumbs up.
I'm finding it impossible to fly in manual mode though, think it needs some seriously reduced rates on the Tx for it but it's fun in auto level anyhow.
Today was perfect for the UMX radian too. Very forgiving, doddle to launch and can fly in a small park. Very relaxed to fly and glide. It does need a very little / no wind like today though. Went through 5 batteries on it. My first fix wing flight and no issues (RC simulator + years of playing MS flight sim helped

Even did some loops; **oops off topic alert
Think it's time to join a club, and progress to some bigger craft. Miniquads are awesome but I'm a bit frustrated with crashes, broken props and expense at the moment.
