Multirotor, multicopter and quadcopter discussion - The Drone thread

Great shot, although you would have been close to that OOB with a ND filter on the Inspire lens. Lightroom for me can literally make peoples jaws drop at the Inspire footage.

Starting the task of changing the dji f450 back to white legs and just a front camera/fpv plate

Shed weight which means longer flying time, quicker and no more wind or wobbling

i really fancy getting a quad but not sure what to go for..prob get a phantom3 pro..but quite fancy the inspire..but think its a tad expensive for me as ive never flown one...ive watched sooooo many youtube vids its unbelievable.. and im **** scared of a flyaway and losing it

The last couple of firmwares for the inspire have really improved it..Iv had 45 flights without any issue long as you do all the calibrations when needed you wont have a problem.

If i was you tho id pratice on something a lot less cheaper for a while to build ya confidence..The inspire is really easy to fly tho..

watched a vid on youtube and this guy bought a cheap one to learn but he said it was a waste of time the inspire was easier than the cheap one....been reading a bit on the dji forum a bit too..wish a mate had one to have a quick go

What's the harm in learning on a machine that's "harder" to fly before sending £2k up in the air? One day you just might need that experience to bring it home... Also, is it only AP you're interested in? Phantoms are terrible from a funfly perspective

Thats what i was trying to say late last night you just worded it better :)

Finally splitting up my setup and flogging the H3-3D as I wasn't doing any filming with it. I might get something a bit smaller and more fun in the future but for the moment my P2 is back to pure FPV. Shame it's so flippin' windy of late most of the time!

Few from the other week, and now quite current!

Anyone got any tips a good way to mount the mobius at a 15-20 degree angle without using the bobbins but still reduce jello. I'm currently using bobbins with a wedge on the mount plate but getting fed up with it coming away every other crash.

Im using foam, and rubber mounts with small nut and bolt through them. With zip ties to hold the camera in place and thread through the camera small holder things,
