mumsnet....

i've talcd up the boys in the past after veeting them lead to far too little friction when sweat was involved.

I was watching peep show on 4od over the weekend as im rewatching it all and i kept getting adverts for a "vibrant paint range" by some company but importantly it had the tag line that it was certified by mumsnet.

I did wonder since when did mumsnet become a go to for paint advice......

Seriously though, the ladies are on to something.

I started using this stuff on my nuts about a year ago and its changed my life. Even after a hard days work there is no leg sticking going on and everything is nice and comfortable! Its amazing

And when your lady pulls off your undies and is hit with the lovely scent of lavender and green tea instead of ball sweat you know you are going to get the special treatment!

placed an order. Lets see :D

It seems just like here tbh, we have a more specifically tailored forum with general sub forums.

They just have a General forum with specifically tailored sub forums.

We have our own brand of cray cray on here.

What was General Discussion like here before 2010 or at least before the recession? As I was never at all that active on this forum until 2010 but my memory always felt this place overall was more techy than it is now. Or at least what I once remembered from 2003-5.

Now there appears to be every kind of political, religious, economy (even what goes on in the USA) and gossip that seems to take place nowadays. As well as to a huge degree it also feels like a therapy forum these days. There is always somebody looking for something so pathetic that could be answered by their friends in the real world but everybody seems to have the need to share...

Or it is just the access of the internet nowadays? I remember the internet quite techy and less whiney than it is today.

Let alone the amount of tabloid readers...

I read mumsnet, normally just the being unreasonable part, didn't think there were that many lunatics with access to the internet until I read a few threads on there.

Mumsnet infuriates me, the amount of idiotic women on there is ridiculous. Every time I end up there (from here typically) I have to fight the urge to register and post to tell them just how stupid they all are.

Not just me then...!

Looks like a thread you might find here.

Five minutes in 'Mumsnet Classics' reveals such gems as "If you fart in the bath", "Will a home made inch loss wrap using haemorrhoid cream and cling film work?" and that all time favourite "I pooed on my skirt at work today".

I think their members are probably a lot more forgiving than a lot of people here based on those titles alone!

Maybe this is answer to my Veet problems. Using Veet on my booty ends up giving me an irritating rash for best part of a week, maybe i need to talc my godly glutes after de-hairing them

I recently saw a link to a discussion recently on mumsnet about how to deal with a boy who doesn't invite a mumsnet members daughter to his football birthday party. LOL hilarious

To the mumsnet-er who will no doubt revive/link this thread:

It is not just here that you guys are thought of as crazy. It is the general populace of the internet that has labelled you a joke, not just the vast majority of OCuk forums.

Except when they get up in arms about something you can be sure it'll become government policy in the not too distant future.
