Muse - Drones

Suede - Filmstar is a wicked song

I love most of their stuff. They had the best "b" sides of any band of their time.

Anyway I going to say categorically I absolutely love Drones - a really good album and some monster riffs. Don't know whether I've spent more time playing them or listening to the album! And that is always a good sign. :D

Best album they have done in years, really love Reapers and them live at Download was one of the best live performances I've seen ever.

Yep there is a load of good stuff out there and not enough time to listen to it all.

I've now decided Aftermath is my favourite it has some hints of Dog Man Star (bass) and Brothers in Arms (lead) in there.

Just booked a last minute ticket to Birmingham tomorrow, standing.

Now i've got 24h to arrange how i'm going to get there etc. so i'm quite panicked! I assume for the Barclaycard Arena there's ample nearby parking?

Anyone else going?

I still think The Globalist is amazing but it's still too short.
It was so close to being their best song of all time

The concert was typical Muse - fantastic spectacle and the songs are at their best when played live.

I'm not sure if you thought this booyaka but in Birmingham I thought the crowd was pathetic. Nobody just ever really got going, too many stood around on their sodding phones. I wish there was some kind of screening that allowed only proper fans into the standing section, not these passive ****ends.

It really spoilt it for me.

At the Hydro in Glasgow it was decent - the standing fans seemed pretty good (were we where) and then the seating goes all the way round the building (the Hydro is a huge 360 degree venue) - I can't imagine going to a gig like Muse and sitting down.....just plain weird!
