Muse's new album

Arent they allowed to do a funny video?

Jee wizz fellas i've loved their screechy student rock since i first heard muscle museum on radio one in like 1999 or something and i still love them even with the trumpets, mexican wailing and kung fu cowboy videos.

... I also think that the first track 'Take A Bow' is the the track which stands out from the rest the most as being different, although it does demonstrate the 'swirlyness' I was on about earlier. Whilst I slated 'KoC' in the other thread, I think its pretty awesome now. Gives me the image of 'Butch Cassidy and Sundance Kid' types just riding into the sunset for some reason, strange ....
Sometimes I am so awesomely correct I amaze even myself....

The exact freaking bit of a 'good' outlaw riding off into the sun... I imagined that. They stole my idea!

So who is going to be at the M.E.N on the 10th?

I got 2 tickets, went down to the M.E.N for half 8 on the day they went on sale...there was a suprisingly short queue! :D

Is it me, or does Zane Lowe really hate the new album?

On mtv2 after playing a live clip, he said something along the lines of "There you go, some nice live muse there, nice and genric" and then on radio1 yesterday whilst annouccing the murcury (This may be the wrong award) shortlist he had music playing in the background whilst announcing them, and then after announcing "Muse, blackholes and revalations" everything went silent for around 3 seconds and he then said "No comment".

Almost every review I read drew that comparison too, I'm afraid. :o

Zane Lowe is a brown nosing ****, I can't take anything he says seriously.

As for Zane Lowe, I not sure how he can have such a stance when the album is just above average at the worst.

I find that hard to swallow when he was sucking up to them so profusely when they were on Gonzo.

He was extremely over-complimentary about the album and stopped just short of giving Matt 'pleasure'.
Now every time he mentions the band or the album he's slagging it off.

The thing that really irritated me about the Muse interview was when he slagged off Pete Doherty, who he repeatedly bummed last time he was on Gonzo. It seems he only has time for whoever is right in front of him and it's extremely unprofessional in my opinion.
