I got a gold necklace (over £400 and not chav like!)) for my 21st, parents have always said that you're never broke if you have some nice jewellery. Got a new watch for getting my degree
Go for something you want but something you can keep in my view, you only turn 21 once.
I got a watch for my 18th so that was done. Really nice Tag watch too
For my 21st i got a 3 piece suite for my new house and a private reg for my car.
Will keep the reg and move it between cars so it's something to remember.
I also treat myself to a holiday to Egypt with mates as we're all 21 around the same time.
My 21st consisted of me waking up slightly worse for ware (was running at 4am), meeting some friends and driving down to Whitsand Bay. I spent the day there mucking about then went around to another friends for a BBQ where more friends turned up and we all bantered the night away.
That to me was a great day. I usually don't get anything or bother making a fuss about my birthdays so I did enjoy it.
My 22nd, I can't remember what I did. I think I probably stayed in with a bottle of whiskey watching Band of Brothers!
My 18th involved a friend turning up at my door with a muffin as a present, then getting very very drunk down some pub with my close friends at the time. I've never over-done alcohol to that extent since!
The most I get on my birthday these days are a card and maybe a tenner or so. Can't complain.
Wore my 21st present tonight, nothing better than putting on something that is worth a mortgage payment+ it adds to the night, never tell anyone how much your watch is worth if you come from the north or a council estate.
