My Bitfenix Prodigy Water Cooled build....

Monkey, if you haven't done so already you should try a dry run on the cabling with the ssds where they are, and the mobo power cables in. It gets really tight in there really quickly.

Another thing to think about is how you are going to get water to your GPU, it does not look like you have an easy route there.

Also, why are you not using the ssd mounts in the side wall or are you planning a window?

Im planning res>pump>CPU>240rad>GPU>120rad>res

Should be able to get water to the GPU as the fitting should be on the inside side of the block (if that makes sense).

Cables should be fine for SSDs on the PSU wall. Think I've got it sussed.

Thought it would look too messy with more cables coming from the SSD bracket area on the door. They would maybe also get in the way of the res.

My only thing is, I bought all the goods today from OCUK. It's still not showing as posted?! Showing as printed in warehouse?! If it doesn't turn up tomorrow I'll be miffed - I would have ordered elsewhere if that the case. Hopefully it'll all appear - fingers crossed.

From my own build, which I know was a different gpu block you can see there was no space inside the gpu at all. It is almost flush up against the top rad. That is why I had to route the tubes all the way around the outside.

One more thing, just for my own mind, would the 240 fit if turned with the ports at the front of the case?

Nice so far, will be following for updates. The prodigy is such a cool case and it's water cooling potential intrigues me

Yeah, I have a couple of 90 deg fittings etc incase I have to loop it round from the other side of the GPU.

The rad fits rotated the other way around also.

How can you make the recon fan controller fit with rads mate?

I'm not 100% sure if it will fit. It depends on how deep the actual unit is - not including the normal parts that would mount into the optical bay at the side.

If the screen & electronics aren't too deep, there's a chance it may fit with some custom modding.

I may order it next week and give it a go. :)

The CPU block I ordered was out of stock - hence the delay in the order being sent out.

I spoke to Ben today who has arranged for the order to be delivered tomorrow.

They have also changed the block to this one....

YOUR BASKET
1 x Aqua Computer Cuplex Kryos Delrin for Socket 775/1155/1156/1366, G1/4 £39.98
Total : £39.98 (includes shipping : FREE).

Not too sure about it. I've read that earlier versions had issues with large compression connectors but they have since changed the design. I'll know tomorrow when it comes! Would have preferred the Raystorm, but out of stock - then the Rasa was also out of stock.

If the replacement isn't too bad and the connections fit, I'll go with it. Failing that I may have to put things on hold and order the Raystorm elsewhere.

On a plus note my 90deg fittings and Corsair SP120 Quiet edition fans came today.

I'll have photos of everything tomorrow night and as long as the fittings are fine with the CPU block, I'll make a proper start! :)

Depending on this size....

Will depend if I can make it fit or not.

Things may be on hold for this was hoping to get it finished tonight. Order received today but a few problems.

1) I received the incorrect pump!!! I ordered the VPP655-T12 but received a TPP644-T12 which does not have the variable speed control!!?!

Also...

2) when the CPU block was changed over due to an item being out of stock I did ask if the 1/2 compression fittings would fit due to the closeness of the threads on the block. I was told it would be fine. Guess what??... Nope. Thread holes are too close together!?

Not impressed! :(

Here's my parts that came today with the exception of the pump and cpu block which I have on order.... I was hoping to get this done tonight - but hey ho!

The black XSPC box is the wateblock for the 670 and the white box is the back plate.

Looks like it might not be too bad as the block has 7 different threads for fittings. :)

Great parts you picked mate! when do you think your build will be complete? and out of curiosity why did you pick them fans over Scythe Gentle Typhoon?

Should be complete Tuesday? When the correct pump and block arrives.

I've always liked the look of the corsair fans tbh and they are apparently good!

Started some work on it.... I'll let the pictures do the talking....

I had to move the front rad to the side to make room for the pump. All seems to be working out ok so far! :)

Apologies for my wonky camera skills!!
