Doesn't come out on the video that well. Plus it's hard to hear the VTEC kick as it's at 4500 RPM and smoothed out.

VTEC sounds better than iVTEC, I've driven cars with both types. K20 is a fantastic engine but you can't beat the noise an old B-series makes.

Awesome car, I really like the DC5. Is it much rawer than the EP3? While a decent car, the EP3 feels a little too refined for my liking.
Is your VTEC lowered to 4500? Huge jump in power past that point. Looks like the bseries sort of jump between on/off VTEC power curve.

Mate at the weekend was saying the DC5 is much tamer (he's had both), but that might be comparing standard form, I think yours is anything but tame DC5 is far nicer inside and definatly looks better (or just newer, not sure on that one).

That Q2 is exactly how I have found the DC5. Harsher than the DC2 and the 'massively corrupted steering' is spot on... (First time I hit bumps on a B-road while overtaking I knew ALL about that ! ).
Still love it, but longing for smoother and DRY roads !

Not exactly. In the US this is called the RSX and they have non-Type-R versions on sale but they are still DC5s.

Sounds good to me mate. My only experience of the DC2 is a 10 min round the block sort of thing. Oh and a P Ride at the 'ring.
