My boss's M6...

He didn't cause the accident, don't forget :).
I dont care if he was just after putting his key in the ignition when a car smashed into it. Over the limit is over the limit as said. He deserved it. And I have no sympathy for drunk drivers. They get whats coming to them.

Indeed, but lets not forget, IF he was over the limit we don't know for sure yet ;)
That may be true. But I still cant stand drinking or taking drugs then driving.

Sounds like he was a bit of a prat! :p

1, The road is no place to have a race.

2, Drink has no place on the road.

1+2 usually = death, he's a very lucky albeit silly man.

R.I.P. M6. :(

Help! BMW seem to think I want to buy an M6 off them and I don't want to hurt their feelings.

Even if I had £80,000 and/or a full drivers license I'd still need to think about it.

I've had phone calls and emails, all sorts of stuff.

Funny that, I've had a few also (knew I should'nt have given my BMW dealer my e-mail addy :o ) Funny how they've missed the fact I drive a £5k 7 year old 7 Series and could'nt possibly afford an M5 / M6.

I agree with you on all those things..... says me (I take it you've seen some of my speeding related threads).

Found out tonight that this isn't the first time he's written a car off when under the influence. A year or two ago he flipped the car he had and screwed up the nerves in his arm. His arm was lifeless for months!

You'd have thought he would have learnt really.

Indeed mate, I'm no fan of speeding ,well, not in the wrong places at the wrong time anyway.....

Sadly my friend, people never learn.

Sounds like a bit of a twonk if he's written off a previous car whilst DUI. as for an accident not being your fault, whilst that might be the case you've got more chance of avoiding an accident if your not tanked up imo.

Few more details...

Ok, so he was racing another BMW. Obviously the M6 got the better of the other car.

Further up the road, my boss signalled to turn right and the other car went ploughing straight into the side of it.

From what I've heard, there was only one wheel left and that wasn't in the best of condition :(

Turns out I could get my hands on some pictures too, so I'll keep you all posted.

man's a fool. drink driving AND racing? ban him for life.

as has been said before, over the limit is over the limit which ever way you look at it. I'm half expecting that this guy is trying to get away with this because of the car that he drives.
