I deserve a medal? What for? Did my quote not show up? It looks fine on my end.

Here it is again anyhow without and quotation markers.

I sold a Range Rover for £350 and this guy tried to tell me that an hour later it had caught fire so he wanted a £50 refund. Fat chance i thought! So i disguised myself as an old lady.

Yes, it's a remarkable co-incidence don't you think?

Yeah, but which ones which. Dumb and Dumber implies that one of them is slightly more intelligent ;)

mjer1984 appears to be a graduate. Now if that isn't irony I don't know what is.

Anyway, one thing is clear - these two people should never meet.

This hilarity is overshadowing my detective skills!

Your spidey senses tingling again Foxy ;)

But this thread deserves 5* - As do all of his threads :D

So let me get this right.

- You bought a range rover V8 approximately 1.5 years ago for £620, and drove it from birmingham to luton uninsured, and it was all fine, you then insured it under your mums name for £500, presumably got it an MOT and did some offroad events in it?

- 1.5 years later you have just bought another one, this time for just £350, and on the drive home it catches fire and you call the fire brigade and this results in £50 worth of damage, which you see as unfair even though it was a £50,000 car for £350 sold as seen as needing work with no mot as a project?

Questions,
1) What happened to the first range rover?
2) Why are you moaning about a £50 repair on an ancient top end luxury SUV which you bought as a project for a weeks wages?

Hang on a second. A few musings..

a) You bought a Range Rover and ON THE WAY HOME it caught fire.

But.. last time you posted a thread here about the Range Rover you told us you'd got it, and you even posted pictures of it at your house. No mention of any fire at all. You even told us it drove.

Here is the original thread. You bought the Range Rover from Birmingham, not 5 minutes down the road. You also bought it well over a year ago.

b) You noticed a fire under the bonnet, and called 999.

So, in the time taken for you to get out, open the bonnet, notice the car on fire, call 999, the fire brigade to arrive... the fire caused just £50 of damage?

This is the second Range Rover iirc.
