Always find it amazing it's known as a kettle lead, caused a ton of problems when trying to buy the socket part rather than the plug for a build. I had no idea what I needed to search for, with "the socket a kettle lead plugs into".

I would drop OCUK a message about the plug, I'm sure they will get on top of it even more so if all the superflower PSU's are being sent out with foreign plugs.

Great looking parts list though Heavenkiss, looks like you've got the orange and black color scheme down, even with the GPU.

It looks like this 'kettle lead' problem is widespread as the monitor was also European! Luckilly pulled wire off my old monitor (minus the power brick which looks like my new monitor does't need).

Looks like it boots up fine. Only issue is Monitor saying 'bios been reset' which im guessing is normal. Going to proceed later on with drivers as my head is banging at the moment. Food then back at it! H80i by far casued the most issues! Hopefully worth it.

If I'm honest I thought it would look smarter than this but hopefully once I add the orange highlights at a later date it looks better. Annoyingly the orange on the sapphire card doesnt match board / ram but think I can live with this. Just the perfectionist in me. Card also seems so big that it dips at the end, doesn't look perfectly straight to the eye.

Dude use a proper image host! Try imgur.com it's really good. Can't really make out the photo you posted it's all skewed.

Yeah the sapphire is more yellow but it's the best GPU for the money on the market at the mo so that's gotta be more important! Could be modded with orange paint or stickers but possibly more hassle than its worth.
 
Might see if i can pick up some orange paint at some point then. Adding orange circles to h80i and exhaust fan in roof you see. Case is really dark too so some led strip lights me thinks.

Will get some more pics live tomoz with a proper host ha. Can get them live using my new computer hopefully :) just installing windows now! Still expecting something to go bang for some reason!
 
Imgur is awesome indeed. If you'd like the build to look a bit smarter, one thing would be to remove the PSU sticker carefully and store it inside its box in case it is needed at some point (for warranty). Alternatively, the PSU could be turned upside down so the clean black side is facing the window and the PSU exhausts air from inside the case. Former is preferable, but the latter would do as well (PSU will just get a bit hotter).
 
Yer danny, the other side of the PSU is awesome looking but i want the fan to be at the bottom tbh. PSU also emits white lights where the modular cables connect which is super annoying and something i wasnt aware of. This with the wrong power cable just makes me hate this part of the build. Ill live with it though.

One question on the H80i, i cant get corsair link software to pick it up and it seems the fans are running full speed (really loud!) i did a google and apparently h80i and corsair link not 8.1 compatible. Anyone know a decent away around this that actually works?

Ah man unlucky! You ALWAYS get both plugs with monitors at least! OCUK will send you 2 for sure - they probly buy them in for 50p each or something.

I'm not sure about the advice re fuse - never check them myself but perhaps he will get back to you with an explanation.

Not sure why the GPU is saying 'R9 200' instead of 'R9 290' but will look into this tonight. Going to do all the regular first installs and then play about in bios, see what I can find. Will also upload more pictures tonight guys.
 
Temps look excellent mate. The software is referring to the R9 200 'series' of cards which your 290 is part of - this is normal and you will find other softwares show this too.

Yeah I replaced the fans on my H100 as they were pretty noisy. I am using Scythe Gentle Typhoons which are outstanding, at max RPM you only hear a faint whooshing noise of the air, the fan motor itself is silent. Unfortunately these are not being made anymore so you will have to find the next best thing!

You could easily remove one of the fans on the H80, just leave one of them pushing air through the radiator - in all likelihood you will only see an increase of a degree or two. I used to have 4 fans on my H100 but there is just no point.

I have heard they are very good and everyone seems to use them so go for it.

As for neatening up your build, you will be amaze how much better it looks when you get some LED's in there. Also you could move the H80 to the top perhaps? not sure how much room you have though. To make my H100 stand out I wrapped standard watercooling hosing around the horrible black ribbed pipes and think it looks pretty good:

You could wrap orange pipes around your H80 pipes but I think they are thicker than H100 so might not work so well

They put them in the post today :) First class so hopefully get them soon.
