Ah thought you might have a boost gauge.
I'm failing to see where the confusion is
Lotus tweaked the Rover K series to make the VHPD engines.
So these engines are Lotus engines by your logic.
The normally aspirated version used a Opel Astra all aluminium alloy 2.2 L Z22SE <snip> originally designed for Opel/Vauxhall by Lotus
The engine in my mr2 is designed by Yamaha.
I drive a Yamaha
Oh Lord this is going to be one of those threads

If we keep getting ridiculous posts like this
A VX220 is more Lotus than an Elise
then yes.
The VX220 is more Lotus than the Elise
Nice car but not my cup of tea, because its a Vauxhall.
FLOL right ok. /facepalm
In some markets it was sold as a Daewoo Speedster
Do love these... you wouldn't believe how many times I asked the vauxhall dealer to find me one of these.
Do love these... you wouldn't believe how many times I asked the vauxhall dealer to find me one of these. After asking for about a year they didn't so I bought something different. Do still want one at some point though.
No it wasn't.
I'm sure if the Elise was the same price, most people would buy the Elise.
But considering a NA VX220 is significantly cheaper for what is essentially the same car, it seems to be like the VX is the thinking mans option.
No it wasn't. .
