Going to grab a little kip, then take it back for a retest and emissions checkthis afternoon.
On the road she was misfiring a little I think one of the coil packs needs replacing, I have plenty of spares here.

Sounds like a small list considering what you have done. Like you say could have been a lot worse.
Right list done, slight problem retest is at 4:30pm. I'm not sure if i'll get to the post office in time to get tax.

you can buy tax online now (here )
However, it takes them up to 5 working days to send out your tax disk. I assume its legal to drive before your disk comes considering you have already paid? If you get stopped you'd prolly get a bit of hassle for it tho :/

Basically, if your coming from the north of tewkesbury (I guess you will be?)
Get off at junction 9 of the m5, and take the third exit (basically, turn right)
follow this road along (you'll go past a large morrisons on your right) and you'll get to the town centre... you'll eventually get to a roundabout, and take the 2nd (Right, almost coming back on yourself) exit. the post office appears to be on this road. (edit - checked the satellite map and its directly opposite the junction on the opposite side of the road (second left after you exit the roundabout)
If you want, come to powerstation first and i'll jump in the car with you to help direct you. I'll be at powerstation from about 8:30, and after calling the post office just now they open at 9am (first power run is at 9:30) close at 4pm (last run should be done by 2pm) and they definitely sell tax discs.
Could ask powerstation if they do MOT's if you don't get through
