The Corsair H60/70/80/Antec Kuhler thing has crossed my mind a few times and is still lurking in the back of my mind, but a full custom watercooling kit isnt something that interests me despite the case being huge.

No, thats the speed its at, turbo is disabled

For Tri-fire/SLI, just additional power, not needed for two cards.

Some power is also drawn though the motherboard connector, the Molex is there just to provide more so it doesn't burn out the slot/board.
