Went down today. Awesome changes. It's like walking into a Spanish market or something.

Fresh herbs are lined up with a gentle misting system keeping them fresh, all manners of different fruits, vegetables and chillies from around the world, with each one explaining what country it's from and how it's best used.

The deli counter now has a large range of cured meats hanging from hooks. Again, like a continental market.

Brilliant changes. Well done Morrison's.

A new Morrison's opened near me, and it was like this. Seems like a widespread roll out. It's really good, very impressed. Great wine selection in my one as well.

store of the future refurbs,

2 of the Glasgow stores are like this now including their new outlet in the gallowgate.

have to say very impressed with their fruit and veg and their deli selections

May have to go check it out.
Not fond of tescos and sainsburys just doesn't have the range especially odd/foreign ingredients. Can't say I've used morrisons in ages

I do prefer the meat in morrisons compared to other supermarkets, but my nearest on is about a 10 mile+ drive, after hearing this i may have to make an excuse to drive past soon

You'll love it, all sorts of interesting stuff. I live in quite a **** area for food but the Morrison's has some fantastically exotic stuff. Not sure how much will actually be bought by the locals, but I'm using it quite a lot as are the ethnics which is always a good judge of quality I reckon.

The Partick one is still a horrible place to be. Amazing that a few months ago, all I had was the **** ASDA at Parkhead where you were lucky to get a fresh apple let alone anything 'exotic'. Now I have a great Morrison's and a Tesco on my doorstep. Long live supermarkets!

I really like Morrisons food, the quality at tesco and ASDA has really gone down hill, the emphasis seems to be on price rather than quality. Morrisons quality seems to be on par with Sainsburys but without the price tag.

A decent sized Sainsbury's usually have a reasonable selection for a mainstream supermarket, I find. What are you looking for?

I prefer our local Morrisons over all other stores, I like the lay out & the atmosphere.

Just got back from my Tesco and its got more "foreign" vegetables than ive ever seen there. Almost 2 isles of the stuff.

Also have 2 entire isles of world foods now, Polish, Indian, Jewish and Caribbean to name a few !

Stuff, sainsburys doesn't have a wide range of foreign or odd products.
I like trying new recipes, often sainsburys don't have xyz but tesco does.

Morrisons near me feels like they have tried to pack as much shelves into the space as possible. I want to look at one shelf then turn around and get lost looking for the next.
