Yes, if there is one regret I have with my purchase, it's that I went for a diesel. I hate the noise and the short gearing

I impulse bought an ice cream once. WAS NICE. Far better than when i took my time about it, was all melted

Just because I said "the one regret" I have, doesn't mean I regret the purchase. If it wasn't for these issues, I'd still love every bit of the car and be happy to keep it for a few years yet

I'm sure the majority of people once they've bought a car and owned it for months notice something, no matter how minor or major about their cars that they're like "I'd change that if I could", mine just happened to be a fairly major bit......the engine

Yea but the noise and powerband is something you notice when you've driven a few potential candidate prior to purchase

I have to agree Steedie. After 4 months of driving my dads diesel I definitely want a petrol when I get my own.

A pensioner a street away had a 130i and it sounded great just on idle!

The 116i have become very cheap now. My friends looking for and there's loads going for around the 5k mark.
